Rose and Gerald McBride
Since 2018, Rose McBride wakes up passionate every day to create new and imaginative artistry in glass from her studio neighboring the Willamette Valley Vineyard. She finds the medium of stained glass brings any artistic subject matter to life as the light continues to change throughout the day.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Rose spent 50 fulfilling years in careers in b...oth the business and nonprofit worlds. She has lived and worked in Washington, Arizona, Louisiana, Michigan, and Oklahoma before settling down her permanent roots in Oregon in 1986.
Rose is primarily a self-taught artist. She is also quick to affectionately credit her attention to detail in her artistic glass compositions to her continuing mentoring by an artist friend who has created world-class glass art for more than three decades. Rose's stained glass art is found at The Gallery at Ten Oaks in McMinnville, Oregon and at River Gallery in Independence, Oregon. In addition, she invites you to visit her at her studio by appointment.

"For me, creating art is living in a moment for an extended period of time and within that immersion magic happens! I have pursued that place of magic through oil and acrylic paintings and figurative sculpture. Then, in 2018, I fell in love with the endless design possibilities glass art has in combining the interplay of light with colors both subtle and bold, and the fascination continues."
