This is sketch for a larger painting entitled "Arm in Arm". It is on a white background with two different colored sleeves and hands. The concept behind the painting is that of timeless brotherhood. The original reference material was from a single person at rest, but it also suggested getting a grasp on things or best of all an old fashion gesture of friendship. I wanted to stress this by creating hands of different people to stress the importance of bonding.
