Ann Cavanaugh

Ann Cavanaugh grew up roaming and "making" in the outdoors of Oregon. Spending as much time outdoors and having been exposed to formal art instruction at an early age has culminated in her being a "maker" of glass that reflects the textures and colors of nature. She is drawn to the depth and complexity that are possible by layering glass into translucent images of amazing power. Every piece repres...ents continuous learning and renewed excitement.

Ann believes in the power and responsibility of teaching. She has benefited from being taught by amazing glass masters and in turn she is committed to teach others her glass techniques and discoveries.
