My father, Victor Homeres, was born in San Francisco on Hollister Street in the Bayview neighborhood on 8/26/1920. I was born in San Francisco on Hollister Street in the Bayview neighborhood on 11/15/1948. This year would have marked my father's 100th birthday. The watercolor and ink painting was done from a 2015 photograph taken by my wife, Connie Homeres, of the Presidio overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. My father is buried there.
