Almost Ready Fine Art by artist Jim Richards - Description: This is a painting of one of my favorite models, Stephanie. It is a 3/4 view from her back, looking to the right with one hand behind her head and the other arm/hand down across her body. Stephanie had a dancing/ballet background and agreed to pose for me when I was living in Spokane, Washington, for a short time. I enjoyed her calm demeanor, which made for a number of quiet and restive paintings.

When COVID-19 hit, the 2020 festival was cancelled, but the organizers saved the artwork and used it for the 2022 festival. This is an annual 3-day, 3000-person festival held in the Evergreen Aviation Space Museum. The painting was was inspired by Oregon's fall vineyards. Joan wanted to convey the golden glow and lush landscapes of the Willamette Valley wine country at harvest time. Signed & matted.
