Gayle Pedemonte spent much of her childhood growing up in Southern California, followed by over three decades of living on a farm in Gaston, Oregon. While raising her children, Gayle worked as a registered nurse between experimenting with various artistic mediums, attending a few basic art classes to supplement her self-teachings. Gayle began taking photos of the landscapes between her commutes to... work, fascinated by the changes they underwent at different times of the day. This fascination helped to spark Gayle's interest into painting landscapes, a passion she's honed for the last fifteen years.
Retired and with children fully grown, Gayle has now been able to commit her time to her mutual torn passion between painting and gardening, spending the rainy months indoors with her canvas and sunny days among nature.

Last Light
Fine Art by artist Gayle Pedemonte - Description: Oil on Panel. A time of day, that lights up the rows, and buildings and seems to catch the light and patterns.
Let's Take a Break!
Fine Art by artist Gayle Pedemonte - Description: Oil on Panel. On a trip to Boston, out in Rockport Massachusetts, a glorious sunny day. On the corner, there was a little spot to stop for ice cream. The red umbrellas and shadows caught my eye.

Not Just a Pretty Face
Fine Art by artist Gayle Pedemonte - Description: At the canal near our house there WAS a pump/gate that had all sorts of rusty equipment. It seemed to function for a lot of years. It was recently torn down to make way for a new bridge at the wetlands. I like all the rusty colors, the metal and old wood.
