My name is Zach and I live in a small town in the Willamette Valley in the heart of Oregon's wine country. I am consistently inspired by my surroundings, big skys, rolling hills and vast horizons. Oils are my preferred medium. I love the way they move under my palette knife and the ease of being able to blend directly on the canvas. At times it feels more like sculpting than painting. I am a self taught painter who has been fortunate enough for the past ten years to do what I love for a living.
