Jeffrey is a native Oregonian, firmly rooted in the Pacific Northwest where rain is plentiful and green is taken for granted. He discovered travel while studying fine arts at Portland State University and never looked back. Jeff, as his friends call him, believes informing ourselves about others through travel, and experiencing other's culture, is inherent to understanding the human condition.
As a maker, Jeff believes he can tap into the human experience and allow the viewer to interact and make their own conclusion to what they see in his work. Jeff enjoys using up-cycled, industrial, and organic materials in his art-making. His love for texture and pattern comes from observing his grandmother sewing handmade quilts, communing in nature, and fascination with mechanized process.
Having worked in the graphic arts industry during its transition to digital technology, he feels he had the best experience to learn the "craft" and then apply it to the new digital tools used in the graphics process.

"Hall goes down to the depths of what others discard and finds the beauty." - A private collector
